Awesome! This book kept me reading into the night. 

As a veteran, I truly enjoyed the action packed pages of this book. I highly recommend. 

I could not put it down. The thrill and suspense was extraordinary. 

I am an avid reader and this book was a wonderful read. Full of excitement.

II really enjoyed this book... I couldnt put it down. The author captures the mood of the times from all perspectives in a fast moving adventure. This would make a great movie!

A phenomenal read! I met the author and was amazed to discover this is his first work. The story drew me in and stole my sleep as I was unable to put it down.... I was lamenting the one disappointing aspect of the book with the authorit ended. Fortunately, he is working on the sequel which I hope is available sooner than later. I can see this author moving in a vein similar to Carl Hiaasen or Randy Wayne White. Get busy Mr. Abernathy😁

This was a GREAT read. I’ve had it for weeks but holidays were too busy. Once I started could hardly put it down. You can tell that the author has a military background as the action is packed, painstakingly detailed but not boring. The book has drama, mystery, justified violence and a smidge of romance. I am going to read it again to make sure I didn’t miss something. Hope there will be a sequel as the characters are too fun to let die.

I absolutely loved this book, and have already read it twice! Once on my own, and again in parallel with my husband, and could not get enough of this exciting story! Encountering a VW Bus in the first chapter is always a good indicator you’re in for a treat, and Mr. Abernathy did not disappoint!
His love of God, Family, Friends and Dogs is endearing, and felt in every chapter of this book. It also softens some of the more graphic content. The attention to detail and character development created such a real world for me, and I was impressed with how he equally captured the individual spirit of both the older, more seasoned characters as well as the younger ones. I was swept away on this amazing adventure that I wish could keep going. I hope there are many more stories to come!

I loved this adventure from coast to coast and beyond! These boys were as much lovers as they were fighters. This book displayed a real respect for the land and sea, faith and family, peace and war. It is evident that the author has extensive experience and a respect for many different facets of life and an appreciation for all things beautiful. I would love to read a “part 2!”
